Chinese burrito was interesting though not something we would order again. Layout is a little awkward with dumpling-making and pick up right at the entrance and those looking to eat in needing to move further in. But once you're in, the place has a cozy seating area in the back. Curious to try their wonton and noodle dishes in future! ”

“ I've been to Mini Potstickers a few times now, both dining in and taking out, and let me tell you... these little guys hit the spot every time! But here's the thing--don't let the name fool you. These mini potstickers are actually more like mini shen jian baos than your traditional potstickers. They've got that pan-fried, juicy goodness that you usually find in a shen jian bao, with a crispy bottom and soft, pillowy top. The texture? Perfect. The crispy bottom gives way to a chewy, soft top, and inside, you're hit with that savory, juicy filling. The sprinkle of sesame seeds and scallions on top just adds to the whole experience, giving each bite a little crunch and burst of flavor. Now, this place gets BUSY. I'm talking 25 minute waits during peak hours for to go orders, but honestly... it's worth it. Whether you're grabbing a box to go or sitting down to enjoy them hot off the pan, these dumplings hold up. They even stay crispy when you take them home, which is pretty rare. If you're a fan of dumplings, especially shen jian baos, Mini Potstickers is where you need to be in SF. Just be ready to wait... but trust me, once you dig in, you'll forget all about the line! “ Ordered a boba tea and got food and came here off a friend's recommendation for a quick bite. There was no wait and to go orders are done via the touchscreen on the wall. 4/5 Chinese burrito - soft on the outside and crispy on the inside with chicken. Tasted good but I think I should've gotten the pork. 4/5 Mini pan fried pork bun - so good with the chili sauce dip. This really was what I needed with by boba. Would definitely recommend. The place looked small so it could be a little wait for a seat if it's busy. ”

“ Pretty good place for chinese breakfast. Place is pretty small and packed, but still managed to get seated pretty fast. Staff is friendly and food came out fast. Chinese burrito was HUGE. For $13.99, had to ask if we accidentally ordered two of them. Mini Pan fried pork dumplings - was pretty well made. I was really hoping for something closer to traditional Shanghainese sheng Jian bao (pan fried pork dumplings), so it didnt quite hit the mark for me. They were a solid mini dumpling with a nice burn to them. Very easy one bite eats. However, traditional sheng jian bao have more a of fry/burn to them, so it gives them a little bit of a harder shell. They offer two types of bean curd jelly. This time i tried the shanghainese style, which was ok. I will have to try the beijing style next time. All in all, recommend this place for a no frills, quick breakfast at a more authentic vibe Chinese restaurant. ”

“ Overall a good experience! Heard so much about this place and finally tried, it is small inside. Beef noodle soup was ok, kind of sweet and the noodles were a little undercooked. Expected a bit more from the mini potstickers, but it was good. The jian bing was worth it, didn't know it'd come with so much! It was tasty ”

“ Saw this place on a local youtuber's video on good eatin in the Sunset. Made the trip here less than 24 hours later, that's how good it looked! And ima say it was indeed VERY tasty. My partner and I shared the burrito (chicken and pork), the pan fried pork bun, the scallion noodles, and the pork and veggie wontons (which is a soup, not clear on the menu for me). The menu is in english and chinese, but english info is limited to the point where it wasn't clear the wonton section was all wonton soup. The other issue was it wasn't listed that there was shrimp in the broth, and server taking our order didn't ask about allergies. (my allergy isn't insanely bad, so I was able to sip the broth, but could tell there was shrimp right away, and my throat did tingle). Burrito was good, sweet and savory, we got it no spicy so we could control our spice levels with te chili crisp at the table. There's some lettuce and cilantro in there too which balances it well. We got the scallion noodles cuz the braised short rib was out (we were there kinda early in the day too, at 1pm), and i was sad BUT the scallion noodles, tho simple were so flavorful. Pan fried pork buns, 10/10 for texture, flavor and presentation. The reason I knock off a star tho is cuz this place was a lil dirty. There was so much food splatter on the wall next to our table, and there was a small black hair on one of our plates, and some mystery debris in my water. After I ate here my stomach did hurt too, but only a lil. Service was quick and efficient. I would come back here for sure, tho there are so so many good places to eat around the area, so I don't know if I'll be back again for years to come. ”

“ Wasn't expecting much from the soup dumplings here but they were so good!! I've never been impressed by soup dumplings until now. The filling was very melt-in-your-mouth and the wrapper was thick and tasted homemade. They also had tons of savory soup inside! I believe they are 6 for $10, which is quite reasonable for SF. Would definitely come back for their "chinese burrito" and their mini pan fried dumplings! We ordered to go and there was a bit of a long wait, but it was fun watching them make the burritos in the window while we waited. ”

“ You could almost call this eatery a textbook hole in the wall, and you might even walk right past it. Had it not been for the sandwich board in front, I almost did. Still I noticed the savoury aroma emanating from the doorway, so decided to check it out and glad I did. Mine was a walk in purchase to go, ordered at a kiosk near the entrance. I waited perhaps 15 to 20 minutes. Mini Pot Stickers also has a freezer, where you can just select and buy bags of frozen dumplings to cook at home. But I wanted an order ready for my family to eat. Seating inside is quite small, very few tables. Still, customers were occupying most of them. I ordered the Three flavour dumplings as well as Mushroom and Fish dumplings. Sold in batches of a dozen. The three flavour variety contained pork and vegetables, and fish one was tasty too. They were enhanced even more with soy sauce. All consumed, all too easily and quickly. Irving Street has several Chinese eateries highlighting dumplings. You kind of can't go wrong around here. Mini Pot Stickers is no exception, as a convenient little spot to get some legit dumplings and other savoury Chinese foods. ”
